Renewable Energy Development Project in Indonesia (RENDEV)

The project involved conducting a national conference workshop on Solar PV development in Indonesia and quantification of the regional development potentials. Preparing market feasibility for Indonesia in order to improve widely equipment applications and financial model design solar PV development.

Local Solar PV Local Training in:

  • Oehala (from 4 to 5 december 2008). In collaboration with Planet Finance, supported by EU and Toyoto Foundation YBUL conducted local workshop “how to install, operate and maintenance solar PV technology in the villages”. Objective local workshops: to prepate local technician on solar PV technology especially at SoE District, East Nusa Tenggara Timur.
  • Kupang
  • Lebak (from 12 to 15 August 2009): Training regarding the installation and maintenance procedures PLTS
  • Bogor (from 19 to 20 August 2009: installation and maintenance training procedures PLTS: x. Conduction of local district workshop in Bogor.
  • Lampung: Training installation and maintenance procedures PLTS, 23-24 juli 2009.

Program in collaboration with Planet Finance/It Power/Transénergie/RENDEV/Intelligent Energy Europe

Purpose of the training:

Increase the capacity of local personnel to support government programs in the implementation of PLTS in Lebak regency, so that they are not dependent of help from technicians from the central, provincial district in case of damage to one of the PLTS owned by the community in the village.
